Your career path has brought you to Hamburg. If you have just arrived here not only do you have to adjust to a new city but you also face the steep learning curve posed by your new position. You need a break away from it! Or perhaps you have been in your position for a while and just need to let your hair down and meet new people outside the office.

Out of love you followed your other half here. You are excited about creating a life here in HH together but perhaps you sacrificed a lot to come here. You may have left a great career and a great group of friends and now you have to find yourself all over again. You are from Germany or have been here for a long time and live in Hamburg and would like to reach out to the international community and newcomers to HH to offer advice and inside knowledge of living here successfully.  You want to share the cool little places that only the locals know. You are here on a study year, internship or as part of your Masters or PhD programme. You are studying night and day but need to get out and let off steam now and then. You are only here for a year or so but want to make the most out of your experience and as well as soaking up all the life that Germany has to offer, you need to get together with your fellow nationals or internationals.

Whether you consider yourself a scrummy mummy or a slummy mummy you may be looking to get a break from the kiddies and just be YOU for a while or you may be looking for a group of girlies with young kids to meet up with, organise play dates during the week or at the weekend, meet other young families and support and be supported.  

You are looking for a new BFF who you can hang out with.  It would be nice to meet someone who has the same interests, has a similar schedule and wants a partner in crime too!  Perhaps you 
would like to meet a tennis partner, someone to go to a yoga class with, someone to trail around the museums and art galleries with.

You want to get out in HH as much as possible and meet as many people and have as much fun as possible!

You may be a brilliant fundraiser, web page designer, accountant, PR guru, bilingual copy writer, marketing goddess, yoga master … You may be an amazing organiser, networker and event organiser! You may really enjoy socialising, creating community, bringing people together, friend match-making, lending a hand….. if you have skills, talents, time and creativity, you will always find an outlet for it here!
